CRAZY PINEAPPLE

Similar to Texas hold’em and Omaha hold 'em this game is the less frequently played poker games.

You will need…

To play the game, you need a standard deck of 52 cards. Crazy Pineapple can be played by 2 to 10 players.

How to deal?

The game always starts from player who is on left to the dealer. As the betting begins dealer distributes 3 tiles facing down to players. The player discards one card from three cards distributed. Staring from the sixth card the dealer distributes hand of five cards. As the game gets going a card is burned again and one is revealed to players.

How to play?

Now the player uses combinations of best five cards (pocket and community card). Finally as the usual player with upper hand wins. Sometimes, the game is over when there is a betting such that it leads other players to give up.

The player sitting to dealer's left hand side makes a preliminary move. The leader in this hand will deal for the next round and the cycle will go on.

And the winner is…

The dealer declares the player with the best hand during showdown as winner.

Tactics of winning…

• Pot limit:

Players can bet any amount during the course of the game. The betting starts from the blind bet to the size of the pot. When the reference for any amount is decided it’s only for blind bet. This amount doesn’t decide the amount that a player can bet. He can bet on the higher side that is till the pot size. However the minimum bet is the upper number that is referred in the blind bet.

• Half-pot limit:

Here there is a limitation to what a player can bet. A player can only gamble the amount up to half pot and minimum betting starts from big blind.

• No limit:

Here a player can bet unlimitedly. From the big blind to the amount he has with him on the table.
